A recent retiree from a long career in education and public relations, I have painted as a hobby for almost 20 years. I now have the time to give it more energy and realize I have so much more to learn!
I am a member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, Southside Art League and Greater Greenwood Art Council.

My choice of medium depends on the subject. I began painting and continued for a long time using watercolor. More recently, I have experimented with acrylics, pastels and oils. I enjoy utilizing the strengths of each medium for varied approaches to and different impressions of my subjects.

My Inspiration
I always carry a camera and enjoy my travels and activities through a lens. Whether on vacation or in my own backyard, I find interesting things to zoom in on or frame in a creative way. Whether nature, animals, people, vehicles, shadows or reflections, much of art is simply being able to see it!
